จิตร์ กาวี เป็นนักยูโฟเนียม และนักดนตรีวิทยา มีความสนใจและมีผลงานในประเด็นทางประวัติศาสตร์ดนตรีตะวันตกในประเทศไทย ครอบคลุมไปถึงเรื่องของมานุษยดนตรีวิทยา การลงภาคสนามเก็บข้อมูลทางดนตรี และงานดนตรีสร้างสรรค์สำหรับวงดุริยางค์เครื่องลม
จิตร์ เป็นชาวจังหวัดเชียงราย สำเร็จการศึกษาหลักสูตรเตรียมอุดมฯ ดนตรี, ปริญญาตรีหลักสูตรดุริยางคศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาดนตรีศึกษา แขนงวิชาปฏิบัติดนตรีคลาสสิก (เกียรตินิยมอันดับสอง) และหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาดนตรี วิชาเอกดนตรีวิทยา ทั้งสามระดับการศึกษาจากวิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล มีประสบการณ์การบรรเลงดนตรีทั้งระดับชาติและระดับนานาชาติโดยเฉพาะการปฏิบัติเครื่องลมทองเหลือง เคยเป็นนักดนตรีในวง Mahidol Wind Orchestra ตลอดจนเป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งวงดนตรี E-TAN Quartet

Bio (English)
Jit Gavee is a euphonium player and musicologist whose research focuses on the history of Western music in Thailand. His academic interests also encompass ethnomusicology, music fieldwork, and composition for wind ensemble.
A native of Chiang Rai Province, Jit completed his pre-college music program, a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Music Education with a concentration in Classical Music Performance (Second Class Honors), and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music with a specialization in Musicology — all from the College of Music, Mahidol University. He has extensive experience in both national and international musical performance, particularly in brass instruments. He was a member of the Mahidol Wind Orchestra and a co-founder of the E-TAN Quartet.
Jit is currently a lecturer in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program in Music Education at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

สงกรานต์ สมจันทร์ เป็นนักดนตรีและนักมานุษยวิทยาดนตรี สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีสาขาดุริยางค์ไทยจากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ระดับปริญญาโทสาขาวิชาดนตรีวิทยาจากวิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล นอกจากนี้ ยังสำเร็จการศึกษาหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรบัณฑิต วิชาชีพครู และได้รับคัดเลือกให้เข้ารับการฝึกอบรมโครงการ Higher Education Professional Development Program and English Communication Skills Training ณ มหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ทเท็กซัส
ในด้านการปฏิบัติดนตรี สงกรานต์เรียนกับครูดนตรีพื้นบ้านในท้องถิ่นตั้งแต่อายุ 10 ปี สำหรับงานวิชาการ สงกรานต์มีบทความ งานวิจัย และหนังสือที่ว่าด้วยดนตรีล้านนา โดยเฉพาะหนังสือ “ประวัติดนตรีล้านนา” ที่เป็นครั้งแรกของประวัติศาสตร์ดนตรีในส่วนภูมิภาค
ในปี พ.ศ. 2559 สงกรานต์ได้ทำโครงการ “ดนตรีล้านนาปิ๊กบ้าน” เดินทางไปสหรัฐอเมริกา รับมอบข้อมูลดนตรีล้านนาจาก “พ่อครูจริยะ” หรืออาจารย์เจอรัลด์ ไดค์ (Gerald P. Dyck) นักมานุษยดนตรีวิทยาชาวอเมริกันที่เข้ามาศึกษาดนตรีในพื้นที่ภาคเหนือระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2510-2514
ปัจจุบัน สงกรานต์เป็นอาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาดนตรีศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ยังคงศึกษาวิจัยดนตรีและทำกิจกรรมร่วมกับชุมชนในมิติต่าง ๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง
Bio (English)
Songkran Somchandra is an Assistant Professor of Music at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University in Thailand and the Director of the Center for Excellence in Lanna Music and Dance Studies. His work is dedicated to the study and preservation of Lanna music, with a focus on ethnomusicology, rituals, and history.
He holds a Master of Arts in Musicology from Mahidol University and a Bachelor of Arts in Thai Music from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. He has authored numerous publications, including books, articles, and textbooks, many of which are centered on Lanna music and Thai music theory.
An accomplished musician with over 25 years of experience in Thai classical and Lanna traditional music, his compositions have won national awards. He has received multiple grants and fellowships to support his research on Lanna musical culture, including the analysis of ancient manuscripts and the documentation of instrument-making techniques.
