“Sai Lrom Sextet” คือกลุ่มนักดนตรีคลาสสิกไทยรุ่นใหม่ที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยพลังและความมุ่งมั่นในการแสดงและส่งเสริมดนตรีคลาสสิกในประเทศไทย โดยสมาชิกทั้งเจ็ดคนล้วนเป็นศิษย์เก่าจากโครงการ YAMP – Young Artist Music Program วิทยาลัยดนตรี มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญที่หล่อหลอมทักษะด้านการแสดงดนตรีคลาสสิกของพวกเขา

นอกจากบทบาทในฐานะนักแสดง พวกเขายังเป็นครูผู้ถ่ายทอดความรักในเสียงดนตรีให้กับเยาวชนในโรงเรียนต่าง ๆ ทั่วประเทศอีกด้วย
The “Sai Lrom Sextet” represents a vibrant new generation of Thai classical musicians dedicated to both performing and promoting the rich tradition of classical music in Thailand. Comprising seven talented members, the ensemble includes Tanawit Tangjud on flute, Yoshio Khunwathanaphakdee on oboe, Noppavee Aree on clarinet, Kunatorn Teekakul on bassoon, Tanupol Chomsamut on horn, and Nashlynn Tangkawattana and Thanasita Fu on piano. All members are alumni of the YAMP- Young Artist Music Program at the College of Music, Mahidol University, where they honed their skills in classical music performance. With extensive professional experience, they have contributed to prestigious orchestras such as the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra, Million Wind Philharmonic, Mahidol Wind Orchestra, and Mahidol Symphony Orchestra. Beyond performing, they also share their passion as music educators in various schools across Thailand.

ได้รับเหรียญ อภิรักษ์นาวี จากกองทัพเรือ และเครื่องหมายแสดงความสามารถดุริยางค์ทหารอากาศ ชั้นกิตติมศักดิ์ จากกองดุริยางค์ทหารอากาศ กองทัพอากาศ
จบการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรี โท และปริญญาเอก จากคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เริ่มศึกษาดนตรีในเครื่องมือทรัมเป็ตจาก ร.ร.วัดสุทธิวราราม ได้รับทุนจาก Rotterdam Conservatory ให้ไปศึกษาทางด้านทรัมเป็ตที่ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ ได้รับเชิญร่วมแสดงกับวงต่างๆ ในระดับนานาชาติ และเคยร่วมแสดงในหลายประเทศในทวีป ยุโรปและเอเซียกับวง Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra

วานิช ดำรงตำแหน่งหัวหน้ากลุ่มทรัมเป็ตของวง Bangkok Symphony Orchestra ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2529 ถึงปี 2547 และยังคงร่วมเล่นจนถึงปัจจุบัน
มีผลงานการประพันธ์และเรียบเรียงเสียงประสาน สำหรับวงดุริยางค์และวงโยธวาทิตมากกว่า 400 ชิ้น ซึ่งบทประพันธ์เป็นที่ได้รับความนิยมใช้ในรายการแสดงดนตรีต่างๆ ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ (เอเชีย ยุโรป อเมริกา)อย่างสม่ำเสมอ ซึ่งรวมถึงเพลงประกอบภาพยนต์ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ โดยศึกษาวิชาการประพันธ์เพลงกับ ศ.ดร ณรงฤทธิ์ ธรรมบุตร (ศิลปินแห่งชาติ)

Silpathorn Contemporary Artist Award 2014 from the Ministry of Culture of Thailand.
Dr. Vanich Potavanich is resident conductor of Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Thai Youth Orchestra and Thai National Symphony Orchestra. Starting as a Guest Conductor of Bangkok Symphony Orch since 1995, Burapa Winds, Darthmouth College Wind Ensemble (USA), Feroci Philharmonic Winds, Fukushima Youth Sinfonietta, Kasetsart University Winds Sym, Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orch, Mahidol Winds Sym, Million Wind Philharmonic, Musica Sin(Penang). Rangsit Symphony Orchestra, Taksin Symphony Orchestra and Thai Youth Orch. He was selected to be Conductor for international music festival. He was selected to be conductor for RBSO Russia tour in Moscow and St.Petersburg.
Principal trumpet of Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra since 1986. Vanich began his trumpet lesson at Wat Suthiwararam School (1982)
As a composer and arranger he had prepared more 400 arrangements and original compositions.
He has been invited as a judge for many music competitions.

บทเพลง “กระทบไม้“ เป็นผลงานลำดับที่สามจากบทประพันธ์เพลงชุด “เพริศแพร้วรัตนโกสินทร์” โดยการนำหน่วยทำนอง(motif) ของบทเพลง ลาวกระทบไม้ มาสร้างทำนองหลักและทำนองย่อยขึ้นใหม่โดยใช้เทคนิคการประพันธ์ต่างๆ รวมทั้งนำปีเกิด(2478)ของครูมนตรีและอักษรตัวสะกดของคำว่ารัตนโกสินทร์ มาถอดรหัสเพื่อสร้างเป็นกลุ่มโน๊ต (cluster)ใช้สอดแทรกในการประพันธ์ เป็นต้น ผู้ประพันธ์ตั้งใจจะนำเสนอทำนองที่เป็นที่มีอัตลักษณ์ของความเป็นไทยและมุ่งหมายให้ผู้ฟังได้ยินถึงทำนองดั้งเดิมของครูมนตรีได้อย่างชัดเจน

“Kratop Mai” is the third piece from the “Glittering Rattanakosin” suite for wind ensemble. This suite draws inspiration from the works of five prominent composers from the Rattanakosin era:
1. Phra Prasan Duriyasap (Plaek Prasansap)
2. Luang Pradit Pairoh (Sorn Silapabanleng)
3. Ajarn Montri Tramote
4. Luang Vichit Vadakan
5. Ajarn Prasith Silapabanleng
“Kratop Mai” is based on the traditional Thai melody Lao Kratop Mai. The composer reimagines the piece by developing new primary and secondary themes derived from motifs of the original melody using various compositional techniques. Notably, the work encodes meaningful elements into the music—for example, using the birth year of Ajarn Montri Tramote (1935) and converting the Thai letters of Rattanakosin into pitch clusters, which are subtly interwoven throughout the piece.
The composer aims to highlight the uniquely Thai identity of the original melody while ensuring that listeners can clearly perceive the essence of Ajarn Montri’s musical voice.

จิณณวัตร มั่นทรัพย์ เป็นนักประพันธ์เพลงและอาจารย์ชาวไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงในวงการดนตรี โดยเฉพาะในด้านการประพันธ์เพลงสำหรับวงดุริยางค์เครื่องลม เขาได้รับการยอมรับในด้านการนำเสนอแนวดนตรีที่ผสมผสานระหว่างเอกลักษณ์ไทยและแนวทางดนตรีตะวันตกอย่างลงตัว

Assistant Professor Jinnawat Mansap
Jinnawat Mansap is a renowned Thai composer and educator, particularly recognized for his contributions to wind orchestras. He is widely respected for his ability to blend traditional Thai musical elements with Western styles, offering a unique musical experience.
Education: Jinnawat began his musical journey in the marching band at Horwang School, where he played the euphonium and tuba under the direction of Mr. Prayut Chanaksorn. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. He later earned a master’s in Composition from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chulalongkorn University, where he studied under Professor Dr. Narongrit Dhamabutra.
Career: Currently, Jinnawat holds the position of Assistant Professor of Composition in the Department of Music, Faculty of Humanities, at Kasetsart University. He has composed and arranged music for various wind orchestras and marching bands in Thailand and other countries in Asia, such as Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Achievements:
In education, Jinnawat was part of the Siamyth Drum and Bugle Corps teaching team from 2003 to 2014.
He has been coaching and conducting the Thai Youth Wind since 2019.
In performance, he has played and been a member of several ensembles, including Brilliant Sound Brass Quintet, Brass Berry, Front Bell Brass Quintet, CU Symphony Orchestra, Thai Youth Orchestra, and Tenrikyo Aimachi Marching Band.
As a conductor, Jinnawat has led performances for ensembles such as the Kasetsart Winds, Nontri Wind Orchestra (WMC 2017), and the Bua Prakieo Wind Ensemble.
As a judge, he has served on the panel for the Royal Cup Marching Band Competition organized by the Department of Physical Education since 2012 and judged for the International Marching Arts Society. In 2023, he was invited to judge the Young Artist Award Composition Selection held by the SCG Foundation.
Jinnawat’s compositions are frequently used as required pieces or featured in competitions and music festivals, enhancing his reputation in Thailand’s wind orchestra community. His works focus on integrating Thai music with contemporary styles, greatly influencing the evolution of wind orchestra music in Thailand. Assistant Professor Jinnawat Mansap continues to inspire students and young musicians through his teaching and compositions, significantly impacting Thai music.

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ กิตติ เครือมณี อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาดนตรี คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ มีประวัติการศึกษาและผลงานที่โดดเด่นหลากหลาย ท่านสำเร็จการศึกษาสูงสุดในระดับ ประกาศนียบัตรขั้นสูง Postgraduate Composition จาก Artesis University Antwerp ประเทศเบลเยียม โดยมีความเชี่ยวชาญในการประพันธ์เพลงร่วมสมัยที่ผสานแนวคิดคลาสสิกร่วมสมัยเข้ากับเอกลักษณ์ดนตรีไทยในรูปแบบสากล การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของท่านมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ผ่านการแสดงดนตรี ให้คนรุ่นใหม่คุ้นเคยและตระหนักถึงศักยภาพในการผสมผสานดนตรีจากสองวัฒนธรรม

Assistant Professor Kitti Kruamanee, a lecturer in the Department of Music, Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University, possesses a distinguished educational background and a diverse range of accomplishments. He earned his highest qualification, a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Composition, from Artesis University Antwerp in Belgium. His expertise lies in composing contemporary music, where he skillfully blends concepts of contemporary classical music with the unique characteristics and elements of Thai music in a universal style. His creative works are often presented through various musical performances, with the key objective of familiarizing the new generation with, and highlighting the possibilities of, simultaneously utilizing music from both cultures.
Assistant Professor Kitti Kruamanee boasts extensive and notable musical experience. He has served as a member of the Chulalongkorn University Symphony Orchestra and an associate member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, both in the French horn section. Additionally, he was a member and bandleader of the Chulalongkorn University International Music Club as a drummer, and a member, composer, and arranger for the Lai Thai Orchestra, also playing drums. Furthermore, he has played a significant role as a musician, composer, and arranger for the Rachadalai Theatre.
Recognized for his outstanding talent and contributions, Assistant Professor Kitti Kruamanee has received numerous prestigious awards and honors, particularly in the field of film scoring. These include the 16th National Film Award (Suphannahong National Film Award) for Best Original Score for the film “13 Beloved”, the Star Entertainment Award 2007 for Best Original Score for “The Love of Siam”, and the Nine Entertainment Award 2007 for Best Original Score also for “The Love of Siam”. For “The Love of Siam,” he was also nominated for the 2nd Asian Film Award 2007 and the 16th National Film Award (Suphannahong National Film Award) for Best Original Score. Later, he received the 10th Starpics Thai Film Award 2012 for Best Original Score for “Home: Love, Happiness, Remembrance”, and was nominated for the Critics’ Association Award 2012 and the 22nd National Film Award (Suphannahong National Film Award) in the Best Original Score category for the same film.

Tide concerto for Trumpets and Wind ensemble 3rd movement
เป็นบทประพันธ์ที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อสื่อถึงแม่น้ำ 5 สาย ของภาคกลาง ในท่อนที่ 3 นี้ กล่าวถึง แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาสื่อถึงกระแสน้ำที่ไหลผ่านเมืองหลวงบรรยากาศของเมืองถูกนำมาใช้แสดงถึงความฉับไวและความคับคั่งต่างๆ ความยิ่งใหญ่และสวยงามของเมืองเก่าที่อยู่ควบคู่กับความทันสมัยในด้านต่างๆ
ในส่วนของบทประพันธ์ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากเสียงนาฬิกาปลุกจากโทรศัพท์ของผู้ประพันธ์ที่ซึมซับในระหว่างทำการประพันธ์กระบวนดังกล่าว ในแง่ของเนื้อหาและเทคนิคของทรัมเป็ตผู้ประพันธ์กำหนดให้สามารถจับต้องได้ง่ายแต่ยังคงลีลาและความเข้มข้นทางดนตรีไว้ ผู้ประพันธ์มีความตั้งใจให้ผู้ฟังเพลิดเพลินกับโครงสร้างของบทประพันธ์และสำเนียงทรัมเป็ตเป็นสำคัญ

Program Notes (English)
The third movement of Tide Concerto portrays the Chao Phraya River, one of the five major rivers in central Thailand. This movement captures the flowing energy of the river as it passes through the capital city. Urban life is represented through musical elements that reflect urgency, density, grandeur, and the beauty of the old city coexisting with modernity.
An interesting inspiration behind this movement is the composer’s own phone alarm tone, which naturally became part of the compositional process. In terms of trumpet writing, the composer crafted the material to be accessible for performers while still preserving musical intensity and expressive phrasing. The intention is to let listeners enjoy the structure of the piece, with the trumpet’s voice taking center stage.
The composer believes that drawing inspiration from everyday encounters is a timeless source of creativity used by many composers throughout history. When balanced thoughtfully with technique, inspiration can lead to the creation of meaningful and well-constructed music.

ธนัช มงคลฤกษ์ (ตาต้า) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2547 ศึกษาด้านดนตรีตั้งแต่อายุ 10 ปีโดยมีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านการเป่าทรัมเป็ตและสนใจศาสตร์ด้านการวาทยกรและการประพันธ์เพลงร่วมสมัยโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในแนวทางของ Program Music
เขาสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาจาก โรงเรียนราชวินิตบางแก้ว ในแผนการเรียน Music Program ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของเส้นทางทางดนตรีที่จริงจังและลุ่มลึกมากยิ่งขึ้น
ธนัชศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาที่ คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย สาขาดนตรีศึกษา โดยมีเครื่องดนตรีเอกคือ ทรัมเป็ต ภายใต้การดูแลและฝึกฝนจาก อาจารย์ Paul Archibald นักทรัมเป็ตชั้นนำระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการพัฒนาทักษะการเป่าและแนวคิดเชิงศิลปะของเขา
ในด้านการแสดงดนตรี ธนัชเป็นสมาชิกของวงดนตรีชั้นนำ ได้แก่

ผลงานของเขาได้รับการยอมรับในระดับประเทศ โดยในปี พ.ศ. 2566 เขาได้รับ รางวัลเพลงไทยยอดเยี่ยม และในปี พ.ศ. 2568 ได้รับ รางวัลเหรียญทองในสาขาการวาทยกรจากเวที Silpakorn Young Band Director Festival ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญของนักวาทยกรรุ่นใหม่ในประเทศไทย

Bio (English)
Thanat Mongkolrerks (Tony) was born on February 8, 2004. He graduated from Ratwinit Bangkaew School with a concentration in Music Program. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, majoring in trumpet under the guidance of Paul Archibald.
Thanat is a member of both the Black Orange Wind Symphony and the Chulalongkorn Symphony Orchestra. He also studies conducting with Kaisorn Julatip and composition with Viskamol Chaiwanichsiri. In 2023, he received the Best Thai Composition Award, and in 2025, he was awarded a Gold Medal in Conducting at the Silpakorn Young Band Director Festival.
His musical interests lie in contemporary composition, especially in the genre of Program Music.

วรพล มัทวพันธุ์ เป็นนักประพันธ์เพลงชาวไทยในกรุงลอนดอน เขาเคยได้รับเลือกให้เข้าร่วมโครงการ Britten Sinfonia’s composer scheme (OPUS1) ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลของ Raymond Yiu และ Cheryl Frances-Hoad พร้อมทั้งมีการแสดงผลงานและบันทึกเสียงที่เมืองเคมบริดจ์ ก่อนหน้านี้ KCL Symphony Orchestra ได้นําบทเพลงของเขาสองเพลงออกแสดงหลังจากเขาชนะการประกวดในปี 2566 โดยหนึ่งในนั้นถูกบรรเลงอีกสามครั้งใน

Bio (English)
Joe Mathawaphan (b. 2003) is a London-based Thai composer. In 2024, he was selected as one of eight composers for the Britten Sinfonia’s composer scheme (OPUS1). Mentored by Raymond Yiu and Cheryl Frances Hoad, the programme concluded with a showcase and recording session in Cambridge. Earlier, two of his works were premiered by the King’s College London Symphony Orchestra after he won their composition competition in 2023, one of which later received its European premiere and two subsequent performances during the orchestra’s summer tour in Southern France. He was also awarded second prize in the BETA Quartet’s Call for Scores, leading to a premiere in Fairmont, West Virginia in 2022. In 2021, he took part in the Thai Youth Winds’ music theory programme, where his composition received first prize. In addition to his passion for classical composition, he has written music for short films and musical theatre.
Joe recently earned a Bachelor of Music with first-class honours from King’s College London, where he studied composition with Thomas Hyde and Edward Nesbit. Concurrently, he received private tuition from respected Thai composers including Narongrit Dhamabutra and Kitti Kuremanee. He will soon begin his postgraduate studies in composition at the Royal Academy of Music.

Clank! (2023, rev. 2025), the sound of a pickaxe striking the cavern walls. In Norse mythology and fantasy literature, dwarves are often depicted as masterful miners who live deep underground, crafting intricate tools and treasures from the earth. This piece draws inspiration from that tradition and captures the working atmosphere inside these dwarven mines. A work song lies at its core, with a theme that recurs throughout in different variations. Swirling high-pitched figures suggest glimmers of precious ore scattered through the stone, while percussive, metallic hits echo the clank of tools deep within the mine. These clanks, sometimes subtle and sometimes forceful, bring the mining scene to life, turning noise into music.

Piyawat Louilarpprasert is a Thai composer and interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of sound, visual arts, and technology. His compositions blend musical and non-musical elements, and he is internationally recognized for his innovative approach to contemporary music. Piyawat has received numerous prestigious international commissions and awards, including the Münchener Biennale Munich Commission (Germany), Musica nova Helsinki with the Helsinki Philharmonic (Finland), the Fromm Foundation Commission from Harvard University (USA), a commission from Hellerau – European Center for the Arts (Dresden), and support from the International Coproduction Fund (IKF) of the Goethe-Institut (Berlin/Bangkok). He is also the recipient of the ISCM/Asian Composer League Prize (New Zealand), a residency at Südwestrundfunk (SWR) Experimentalstudio (Freiburg), and invitations to major festivals such as MATA Festival (New York) and Mizzou Composer Festival (Missouri, USA). His accolades include the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award (2018, 2020, 2021), the Fritz Gerber Award and a commission from the Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), as well as recognition from institutions such as the British Council, Pro Helvetia, Japan Foundation, and more.

Since 2022, he has served as a Visiting Professor at Cornell, and in 2023, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Composition at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio. At BGSU, he plays a key role in academic leadership, curriculum design, and interdisciplinary collaboration, further strengthening his qualifications in educational and institutional development.

“Swarm, Swamp, Swag” สำรวจความซับซ้อนของการรับรู้ของมนุษย์ผ่านเสียง โดยพฤติกรรมของเรากลายเป็น ส่วนหนึ่งของเพลง ในจินตนาการของผม ความคิดและการกระทำของมนุษย์นั้นกว้างขวาง มักแตกเป็นเสี่ยง ๆ และดูวุ่นวาย—ความคิดรุมเร้า (swarm) ผู้คนจมอยู่ในความสับสนหรือหยุดนิ่ง (swamp) และบางครั้งก็ล่องลอยอย่างไร้ทิศทาง (swag) ผลงานชิ้นนี้สะท้อนลักษณะเหล่านั้น โดยโอบรับความจุกจิก การแยกย่อย และความคลุมเครือที่เป็นตัวตนของกระบวนการทางจิตของเรา

Swarm, Swamp, Swag (2024) for band and phones
Commissioned by Kenneth Thompson, for BGSU Wind Symphony premiere at the 45th Annual Bowling Green New Music Festival
“Swarm, Swamp, Swag” explores the complex landscape of human cognition through sound, where our behaviors become the central musical material. In my imagination, human thought and action are vast, often fragmented, and seemingly chaotic—ideas swarm, people get swamped or stuck, and at times, we swag or drift aimlessly. This piece reflects those characteristics, embracing the fussiness, fragmentation, and ambiguity that define our mental processes.
When composing for the band, I approached the music as a collection of data points—familiar musical fragments typically found in band music, yet here, they are intertwined in a swarmy, swampy manner. The inclusion of phones in the performance isn’t just a nod to modern life; it challenges the traditional concert experience where phones are usually forbidden. By integrating these everyday devices, the piece blurs the lines between the ritual of concert-going and the chaotic, interactive nature of contemporary life. In addition, to just add one more layer of experiencing this piece, the sounds of phones attempt the culture of “recording”, where in this performance, you will hear the mess of sounds qualities from many phones, where it was actually recorded live from the band.
“Swarm, Swamp, Swag” creates a performative situation that mirrors our uncertain and ever-shifting perceptions. The result is an immersive experience where sound, action, and interaction converge, reflecting the swarming, swamping, and swagging nature of human cognition.

แคน เป็นเครื่องดนตรีประเภทเครื่องเป่าทำจากไม้ไผ่ มีต้นกำเนิดจากภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศไทยและประเทศลาว และเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของดนตรีในภูมิภาคนี้ บทประพันธ์นี้นำเสียงที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของแคน ได้แก่เสียงลากยาว (drone) ในแนวเสียงประสานต่างๆ และ กลุ่มจังหวะคงที่มาเขียนขึ้นใหม่ในรูปแบบของวงดุริยางค์เครื่องลม โดยผสมผสานขนบดนตรีเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้เข้ากับเครื่องดนตรีตะวันตก

Khaen is a bamboo free-reed mouth organ from Northeast Thailand and Laos, deeply rooted in the region’s musical heritage. This composition brings the Khaen’s distinctive timbre—drone-like textures and rhythmic ostinatos—into the wind ensemble setting, blending Southeast Asian traditions with Western instrumentation.
Structured in multiple contrasting sections, the piece highlights the essential characteristics of the Khaen: resonant open chords that evoke its rich harmonics, lively ostinato figures inspired by traditional accompaniment patterns, energetic dance-like passages, and a lyrical, nostalgic slow section. Each segment explores a different facet of the instrument’s expressive range through different musical textures by the ensemble.
Building towards its climax, the piece culminates in an explosive, high-energy dance, driving forward with rhythmic intensity!

Assistant Professor Jinnawat Mansap
Jinnawat Mansap is a renowned Thai composer and educator, particularly recognized for his contributions to wind orchestras. He is widely respected for his ability to blend traditional Thai musical elements with Western styles, offering a unique musical experience.
Education: Jinnawat began his musical journey in the marching band at Horwang School, where he played the euphonium and tuba under the direction of Mr. Prayut Chanaksorn. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. He later earned a master’s in Composition from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chulalongkorn University, where he studied under Professor Dr. Narongrit Dhamabutra.
Career: Currently, Jinnawat holds the position of Assistant Professor of Composition in the Department of Music, Faculty of Humanities, at Kasetsart University. He has composed and arranged music for various wind orchestras and marching bands in Thailand and other countries in Asia, such as Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Achievements:
In education, Jinnawat was part of the Siamyth Drum and Bugle Corps teaching team from 2003 to 2014.
He has been coaching and conducting the Thai Youth Wind since 2019.
In performance, he has played and been a member of several ensembles, including Brilliant Sound Brass Quintet, Brass Berry, Front Bell Brass Quintet, CU Symphony Orchestra, Thai Youth Orchestra, and Tenrikyo Aimachi Marching Band.

Piyawat Louilarpprasert is a Thai composer and interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of sound, visual arts, and technology. His compositions blend musical and non-musical elements, and he is internationally recognized for his innovative approach to contemporary music. Piyawat has received numerous prestigious international commissions and awards, including the Münchener Biennale Munich Commission (Germany), Musica nova Helsinki with the Helsinki Philharmonic (Finland), the Fromm Foundation Commission from Harvard University (USA), a commission from Hellerau – European Center for the Arts (Dresden), and support from the International Coproduction Fund (IKF) of the Goethe-Institut (Berlin/Bangkok). He is also the recipient of the ISCM/Asian Composer League Prize (New Zealand), a residency at Südwestrundfunk (SWR) Experimentalstudio (Freiburg), and invitations to major festivals such as MATA Festival (New York) and Mizzou Composer Festival (Missouri, USA). His accolades include the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award (2018, 2020, 2021), the Fritz Gerber Award and a commission from the Lucerne Festival (Switzerland), as well as recognition from institutions such as the British Council, Pro Helvetia, Japan Foundation, and more.

Viskamol holds a bachelor’s (composition) and master’s (conducting) degree from the College of Music, Mahidol University. He is currently in Kansas City, Missouri where he is pursuing his DMA in Composition at University of Missouri – Kansas City while enjoying cooking different dishes from whatever ingredients he can track down in the city.

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุรสีห์ ชานกสกุล เป็นศิลปินทรัมเป็ตชั้นนำของไทยที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติ ท่านสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และต่อยอดด้วยปริญญาโทและเอกด้านการแสดงดนตรีและการสอนดนตรีจากวิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยได้ศึกษาทรัมเป็ตกับครูผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิหลายท่าน อาทิ ศาสตราภิธาน ดร.วานิช โปตะวานิช, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์สุรพล ธัญญวิบูลย์, รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธวัชชัย นาควงษ์, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.โจเซฟ โบว์แมน รวมถึงอาจารย์ระดับโลกอย่าง Richard J. Adams, Laurie Gargan, Reinhold Friedrich, Allen Vizzutti และ Andrea Giuffredi

Assistant Professor Dr. Surasi Chanoksakul is a leading Thai trumpet artist highly regarded internationally. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Kasetsart University and further pursued his master’s and doctoral degrees in Music Performance and Music Pedagogy at Mahidol University’s College of Music. He studied trumpet with several esteemed instructors, including Distinguished Professor, Dr. Vanich Potavanich, Assistant Prof. Surapol Thanyawibool, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Nakwong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Joseph Bowman, and world-renowned artists such as Richard J. Adams, Laurie Gargan, Reinhold Friedrich, Allen Vizzutti, and Andrea Giuffredi.
Dr. Surasi excels in solo trumpet performance, evidenced by significant works such as his performance of Arutunian’s Trumpet Concerto with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Claude Villaret, a solo in ‘Concerto de Aranjuez’ with the Selangor Symphony Orchestra, and the piece “Flowerdale” at the 5th Singapore International Band Festival 2016 Gala Concert with Nontri Orchestra Winds, conducted by Assistant Prof. Surapol Thanyavibul. He was also the lead trumpet for the “LaLaLand” concert tour across Asia, collaborating with Justin Hurwitz, composer and conductor, Singapore Festival Symphony, and Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, highlighting his expertise and prominent role as a solo artist.
Currently, Dr. Surasi holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Music, Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University. He is also the Principal Trumpet of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, an International Bach Artist, a member of Million Wind, Lead Trumpet for Soul After Six, and a trumpet and brass instrument lecturer for the Thailand Wind Band Association.

ธนสิทธิ์ ศิริพานิชวัฒนา เป็นหนึ่งในนักเพอร์คัสชันชั้นแนวหน้าของเอเชีย มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านทิมพานี มาริมบา และเครื่องกระทบร่วมสมัย โดยดำรงตำแหน่ง Principal Percussionist และ Co-Timpanist ของวง Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra และ Timpanist–Percussionist ของวง Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra อีกทั้งยังเป็นอาจารย์ประจำสถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา
ธนสิทธิ์เริ่มสร้างชื่อในระดับนานาชาติเมื่อได้รับคัดเลือกให้แสดงกับวง Santa Clara Vanguard และศึกษาเครื่องกระทบกับ Brian Mason ในปี 2006 ต่อมาได้รับทุน Asian Uninet เพื่อศึกษาต่อ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยดนตรีเวียนนา ประเทศออสเตรีย, Royal Conservatory เมือง Antwerp ประเทศเบลเยียม และในประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ โดยได้ศึกษากับศิลปินชั้นนำระดับโลก อาทิ Walter Veigl, Anton Mittermayr, Nick Woud และ Ludwig Albert
ในฐานะศิลปิน ธนสิทธิ์ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศทั้งในประเภทเดี่ยวและวง Ensemble จากเวทีระดับนานาชาติในอิตาลี ฮ่องกง ญี่ปุ่น และเนเธอร์แลนด์ และเคยเป็นหัวหน้าวง TimeSoul Percussion Group, Zenith Percussion Ensemble, Multus Duo และ Crystallize Percussion Ensemble เขายังได้รับเชิญเป็นวิทยากรและกรรมการตัดสินในงานระดับชาติและนานาชาติในกว่า 10 ประเทศ รวมถึงสหรัฐอเมริกา เกาหลีใต้ โปรตุเกส และเนเธอร์แลนด์

Bio (English)
Tanasit Siripanichwattana is recognized as one of Asia’s leading percussionists, specializing in timpani, marimba, and contemporary percussion. He serves as Principal Percussionist and Co-Timpanist of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Timpanist–Percussionist of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and a full-time faculty member at the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music.
His international journey began in 2006 when he performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard and studied under Brian Mason. He later received the Asian Uninet scholarship to pursue advanced studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, and institutions in the Netherlands, studying with world-class artists such as Walter Veigl, Anton Mittermayr (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra), Nick Woud (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), and Ludwig Albert.
Tanasit is a prizewinner of multiple international solo and ensemble competitions in Italy, Hong Kong, Japan, and the Netherlands. He has led numerous percussion groups including TimeSoul Percussion Group, Zenith Percussion Ensemble, Multus Duo, and Crystallize Percussion Ensemble. As a sought-after educator and adjudicator, he has been invited to over 10 countries including the United States, South Korea, Portugal, and the Netherlands.
As a composer and conductor, Tanasit blends Thai cultural roots with contemporary global music concepts, creating works for soloists, ensembles, and youth percussion groups. His music is known for its rhythmic clarity, emotional depth, and narrative strength.
He is the founder of the Thailand International Percussion Festival and an international artist for Adams Musical Instruments, Avedis Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, Innovative Percussion, and Percussion House.
With precision, expression, and storytelling through rhythm, Tanasit believes that “sound” is not merely for technical display, but to awaken the imagination and spirit of every listener.
