Bussaba for Marimba and Piano is a piece that uses Eastern materials to match marimba vocabulary. These ideas create the individual sound of marimba literature. This work has a story from the name “Bussaba” the Thai flower often used metaphorically to be beautiful, fascinating, and exotic. I use the meaning of Bussaba to express my marimba vocabulary and communicate Thai music in percussion medium. The context of Thai music and contemporary composition are possible.
