Composed in 2018, Scherzo depict the two dance-like characteristics, the jumping lively music and the folk-like groovy rhythm of Thailand’s North Eastern (Esan) music. Those two different stylistic intertwines between one another starting from the jumping melody into the folk music of Esan. Scherzo is commissioned by Siam Saxophone Quartet, performed at 18th World Saxophone Congress in Croatia.
