Program Note

Paribatra March, a song under Prince Paribatra’s name, is one of his most popular compositions. The piece was composed during the reign of King Rama VI (1915-1917) for the purpose of accompanying silent films and other banquets or celebrations. Master Nart Thawornbutra was the one who made notated manuscript. This is one of the Prince’s most graceful and beautiful compositions.
