Program Note

This is one of the earliest march song in Siam composed during the early reign of King Rama VI, the composer was anonymous. Bhanurungsri March was composed for honouring His Royal Highness Prince Bhanurungsrisawangwong in an old style of early 18th century marching song. The song was recorded in vinyl by Odeon, a German record company. After Bhanuruangsri March came many more: Vajiravudh March, Jira March, Damrong March, and Paribatra March, respectively.
