Thanat Mongkolruk, born in 2004, is deeply committed to continuously developing his musical skills—ranging from performance and musical conceptualization to the creation of compositions that reflect his unique identity through program music, a style that connects music with narrative, imagination, and profound emotion. Thanat began studying composition under Viskamol Chaiwanichsiri, and his works have been showcased both nationally and internationally, including in the United States and Singapore. He has received numerous awards for his compositions. In 2025, he was selected as a winner of the “Million Wind Philharmonic Call for Score for 2 Thai Composers”. Also in 2025, he won the “Thai Wind Composer x VAMC Call for Score”, with his piece being selected as the required work for the Valaya Alongkorn Music Competition.
