Program Note

This piece was composed for the Jinnawat Mansap Award in the North Eastern Winds Festival 2023 in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, where TESKA Winds received the award. It is the composer’s second concert march and is inspired by the march styles of John Williams, Gustav Holst, Edward Elgar, and R. Vaughan Williams. The work reflects the grandeur of American-style fanfare melodies combined with the graceful character of British-style trio sections. The composer blends these two distinctive qualities throughout the piece.

The main theme is first introduced in the opening measure by the trumpets, after which it is developed in various forms across the composition. Listeners can easily follow this theme from the beginning to the end of the march.
